It begins using a precision cut and strip machine. This machine is used for repeatable and accurate cuts. Once the cable has been cut to the proper length, terminals are added to each end. Pacer uses a hydraulic-pneumatic crimper that creates a gas-tight crimp. When the terminals are properly crimped, epoxy heat shrink is then added to the assembly. The heat shrink is used to create a barrier which in turn makes a moisture and airtight connection. The process is used to create superior 1 AWG black battery cable assemblies.
