Blues Sea Systems compact high-amperage switches are vapor/ignition protected and UL listed. These switches are built with safety in mind. They are designed to isolate the battery to prevent the spread of flame if a fire breaks out onboard a marine vessel. In fact, the ABYC requires a switch like this on all boats that have more than 800 cranking amps.  They are simple is install and built with longevity in mind. This is why you will find them on some of the biggest boats out there. The E-Series are 350 Amp continuous rated for outboards, small gasoline or diesel engines. 350 Amps continuous, 600 Amps (5 mins.) intermittent rating. Crank rating (10 sec.) 2000 Amps (1 min.) 1000 Amps.
