Flat braid cable, also known as tinned braided copper, is a weave of soft drawn tinned copper wire. Originally it is constructed as a tube that is then rolled flat to create a specific width. What is a braided cable? In the cable industry, a braid is a tubular sheath constructed from strands of wire that have been braided together. These strands range from tens to hundreds of different strands.
