Blue fork terminals are for 16-14 AWG wire and come in a variety of insulation materials. Non-insulated terminals are the most economical. They are used in applications where special installation characteristics are not needed. Nylon terminals offer the ultimate in rugged construction. They are known for high performance and quality. Nylon insulated terminals are also known to protect against stress and high vibration. Vinyl terminals are ideal where an insulated barrel is necessary. Vinyl fork terminals feature an insulation sleeve of color-coded PVC. The sleeve is permanently tapered to the barrel. Heat shrink terminals protect against the elements. They are designed to handle the most challenging of environments. Heat shrink terminals contain a heat activated adhesive liner. This liner is designed to provide a durable, rugged, environmentally sealed connection for wires between 16 AWG - 14 AWG.
