Product Description
Durable connections are important in every part of an electrical system. The ability to disconnect and reconnect terminals makes maintenance that much easier. By using Pacer's heat shrink partially insulated disconnect terminals you have the best of both worlds. Heat shrink terminals offer protection from the elements in the harshest of environments. They offer superior moisture protection. How do they achieve this? These heat shrink partially insulated disconnect terminals contain a heat activated adhesive liner. This liner creates a rugged, environmentally sealed connection for wires from 22-10 AWG. By using these terminals, your connections are protected from exposure to water, gas, oil or other corrosive compounds. These terminals even offer protection from physical abuse and abrasion. Partially insulated disconnects allow the operator to quickly separate the connection if needed. This makes removing a piece of equipment or completing maintenance a breeze. These terminals are ideal when working with field serviceable equipment. The insulation color is an indicator for which wire gauge the terminal should be used on. Red insulation is meant for 22-18 AWG. Blue insulation is meant for 16-14 AWG. Yellow insulation is meant for 12-10 AWG. Selecting the correct heat shrink partially insulated disconnect terminal isn't an easy task. Contact a Pacer expert today with any questions that you may have.
