Pacer Junction boxes are used to enclose wire connections. This is done for many reasons but primarily to protect against short circuits. This means junction boxes can prevent, or at least contain fires. Pacer's junction boxes are made with the marine environment in mind. This junction box has outside dimensions of 5.03" x 3.06" and is 3.02" deep. It is designed in accordance with the Joint Industrial Council (JIC)-USA. The box and cover are made from grey (RAL 7036), high impact polyphenylene oxide. They also have 4 non metallic corner screws. Choosing the right junction box for your project is not an easy task.
