A-series Magnetic circuit breakers are affected strictly by current. this means that they are not by temperature which separates them from thermal breakers. It order to make these breakers as safe as possible, they have been built so that they cannot be forcibly held on. As the current exceeds the amount that is specified by the breaker, the circuit will open. This is one of the many reasons that these breakers are so popular.
