As concerns over COVID-19 (Coronavirus) grew affecting our community and businesses, we assured you we were monitoring developments globally. All Pacer locations fall into multiple "Critical Infrastructure Sectors" as defined by the United States Federal Government (https://www.cisa.gov/critical-infrastructure-sectors). Pacer is a top manufacturer and supplier of critical wire, cable, and electrical connectivity infrastructure products. Reaching out to our supply lines and adjusting our wire production ensured we would continue to be a trusted supplier.

Everyone understands that COVID-19 has affected many companies' ability to conduct business. That is why we have reached out to our customers and partners; adjusting timeline and purchase schedules to best meet their needs. Pacer has adopted CDC recommendations to keep our employees and customers safe. We are taking every precaution possible. Our strategy plan includes:
Health & Safety Guidelines
- Making the safety of our customers and employees our top priority.
- Regularly communicating with all our employees on safety and hygiene to help slow the spread.
- Communicating with all employees about remote access capabilities, and alternate work locations with remote tools, where ever applicable.
- Ensuring strong safety processes are in place for all field service representatives. This includes following the latest local health authority guidelines as well as all applicable regulations.
Continued Production & Functionality
- Maintaining multiple locations for manufacturing and fulfillment of goods to all our customers
- Continued daily shipping to keep our customers and partners operating.
- Our Fort Lauderdale location is continuing to ship and fulfill call in and web orders with curbside pickup.
- Implementing all Health & Safety guidelines at all locations during production and shipping processes.
IT Infrastructure
- Ensuring that all team members who are working remotely use company-issued secure computers.
- Each computer is complete with end-point protection and connection to our secure network using a secure VPN.
Pacer has been designated an essential critical infrastructure as defined by most governments. We do not anticipate any interruptions to our operations, however, local governments may require temporary containment measures. In this situation, we will comply with local laws, and in most cases seek support from local authorities to maintain critical business operations as an essential business for our communities.
Pacer has been a staple of the marine and various electrical industries for over 40 years. When tough times have hit our partners and community, we have strived to live up to our promise. The fact is, we don't take our commitment to our customers and partners lightly.

Mask Production
During these trying times, Pacer has done everything possible to help. Always being active in the community has been an important part of our corporate philosophy. We have used our resources to convert part of one of our facilities into a mask production line.
We currently produce between 400 - 500 masks per week that we distribute, at no cost, to our staff, their family, and the community as a whole. Take a look at some of the images below to see just a small sample of the work we have done.
