Piggyback disconnect terminals are made to be used when multiple connections are required. Specifically when there are a limited number of male tabs available. The piggyback terminal is designed to allow another disconnect terminal to be connected to its tab. The tab is located on the back of the piggyback disconnect. After the connection is made, the piggyback is then connected to the tab of another connector. Confused? Don't be. To put it simply. Piggyback disconnect terminals connect to a female connector and accept a male connector. So in a sense, they can be considered a two-way connector.
What styles of piggyback disconnect terminals do we carry? Pacer offers these terminals in both vinyl or nylon insulation. They are available in 22-18 AWG, 16-14 AWG, or 12-10 AWG sizes. What makes these terminals so great is that they are simple to use, easy to install and built to last. Selecting the correct piggyback disconnect terminal isn't always an easy task.
