Unshielded multiconductor 14 AWG cables are used in a wide range of industries. Many times, you will find them in things like consumer electronics or even industrial control equipment. They are also commonly used in advanced signal transmissions in controlled environments. What does all that mean? Well, it basically means that multiconductor cables are used for controlling equipment. By using unshielded multiconductor 14 AWG cable you have the option of selecting 2 conductors.
Unshielded multiconductor 14 AWG cables are made from finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors are insulated with color coded PVC. The now insulated conductors are then covered with a durable yet flexible grey PVC jacket. This serves to keep the conductors together and also offers greater protection. These cables are manufactured to meet the requirements for UL, CSA and NEC. Temperatures and voltages are not always the exact same from cable to cable.
