Unshielded multiconductor 22 AWG cables are used in a large number of applications. Many times, you will find them in things like consumer electronics and industrial control equipment. They are also used in signal transmissions in controlled environments. What does that mean? Well, it means that multiconductor cables are used for controlling equipment.
By using 22 AWG unshielded multiconductor cable you have the option of selecting between 2 to 25 conductors. Unshielded multiconductor 22 AWG cables are manufactured from finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors are then insulated with color coded PVC. The now insulated conductors are next covered with a flexible and durable PVC jacket. This keeps the conductors together and offers superior protection at the same time. These cables are manufactured to meet the requirements for UL, CSA, NEC, and RoHS. Temperatures and voltages are not always the exact same from cable to cable.
