Unshielded multiconductor 16 AWG cables are manufactured from finely stranded tinned copper conductors. These conductors are then insulated with color coded PVC. The now insulated conductors are then covered with a durable yet flexible grey PVC jacket. This keeps the conductors together while offering greater protection.
